The position

We are looking for a talented and motivated Account Manager to join Sympower’s growing team in Finland. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with our customers and partners, helping them unlock the potential of Sympower’s innovative solutions.

This role will require some onsite working, visiting the facilities of our customers.

What you will do

  • Focus on direct sales with new customers and up sales with existing customers

  • Present Sympower successfully to leads, partners, and other stakeholders

  • Act as a (commercial) contact for existing customers and partners

  • Be proactive in new advancements in the industry and advise Sympower on new product development

  • Collaborate closely together with our sales team members in other countries

  • Visit existing and potential customer facilities throughout Finland

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Partner, Sales or Commercial roles

  • Experience from energy-intensive industry and/or electricity sector

  • Interest and curiosity in Demand Response is a must

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently

  • Prestige-less mentality and a helpful attitude to support the Finnish operations and the rest of the company

  • Fluent in Finnish and working proficiency in English

  • Ability to travel to our customers and partners in Finland about once a month

  • A Finnish driving license (B) for customer visits is essential

Beneficial skills

  • Experience in technical sales

  • Swedish language skills are a big plus since many of our greenhouse customers speak Swedish

  • Experience in negotiations in a commercial environment

  • Experience of reserves and balancing power markets

  • Electrical installations & industrial automation system knowledge is a plus
