Job requirements

What you will do

  • Indirect Sales: You will work with our current partners (e.g. energy consultants and energy suppliers), search for new opportunities, and act as the commercial representative of Sympower in the Netherlands

  • Direct sales: Lead the sales cycle by proactively searching for new leads and own the sales process till contracts are signed in the Dutch market

  • Business Development: Define the country's commercial strategy and create an action plan. Work cross functionally with the Sympower Crew to realize plans and targets

  • Country Leadership: Develop the sales/account team in the Netherlands! Define team targets and coach the growing team on performance, engagement and development opportunities.

  • Proactive Development: Help with new advancements in our industry and advise Sympower on new product development opportunities

What you will need

  • 10+ years of demonstrated sales experience, ideally in a tech or SaaS environment

  • 5+ years of experience of working in the energy industry

  • An existing network of industrial companies and/or energy suppliers

  • Experience in setting a country strategy and leading a sales team to success

  • Ability to influence decision makers and to build long-term partnerships

  • Fluent in English and other languages are nice to have

  • We are open to this person being located in the Netherlands or Belgium with ability to travel to our Amsterdam office as needed
