The position
The People and Culture Manager is an advocate for our candidate and employee experience.
In this position you have the end to end responsibility of hiring, onboarding, engaging and developing our amazing crew at Sympower in alignment with our people strategy.
This includes working with the Leadership Team to help design our people strategy, advising Leadership on organisational design, leading the governance of our people policies and championing the ongoing cultivation of our culture as we evolve.
You are also responsible for leading, coaching and supporting the People Operations, Recruitment and Facilities Teams at Sympower, as well as being a business partner to our Extended Leadership Team to support them to enable their teams.

What you will do
Support the Leadership team to design and steer our people strategy (including Recruitment, Facilities and HR).
Partner on our company wide goal setting and ESG initiatives to ensure that the people strategy is in alignment with the business strategy
Drive proactive HR business partnering, developing the People Team with their partnering activities.
Work with People Managers and People Leads to help them proactively lead and manage change in a continuously evolving environment.
Create, implement, optimise and maintain people processes and policies to support the employee experience in alignment with the people strategy.
Support the continuous improvement of our recruitment processes, the candidate experience and hiring manager experience.
Be an advocate of our company values and help to cultivate them throughout the business.
Create a system that supports people's growth and development.
Redefine our engagement strategy.
Partner with our Sympower Crew Committee and Works Council to define and implement initiatives that strengthen the connection between our Crew.
Provide HR guidance and strategies to support our expansion into new countries and through M&A
Provide HR guidance and strategies to support our expansion into new countries in EMEA.
What you will need
A university degree, (preferably in a related field) OR a proven track record of HR experience on a leadership level is a must.
Excellent leadership and people management skills with a keen ability to build teams, and to build relationships on all levels of a scaling organisation.
Experience in identifying development needs and implementing learning and development initiatives to grow people as Sympower grows.
Demonstrated success in implementing People & Culture initiatives for growth while maintaining company culture and employee engagement.
Fluent in English. Other languages are nice to have.
Compensation
At Sympower, we believe in fair and transparent pay.
Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, and competence. For this role, most of our new hires would fall into this range: €70,000 -€90,000.
