The position
The Regulatory Affairs Advisor, the Nordics will be part of the Public and Regulatory affairs team. This person will be in charge of monitoring policy developments, assessing their impacts on Sympower’s operations and working on improving the regulatory framework as the company evolves with a focus on Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden! You will be working with commercial partner/account managers, technical sales engineers, leadership and other market strategy team members to provide support, knowledge and direction for Sympower in the Nordic markets.

Job requirements
What you will do
Be the point of expertise within Sympower regarding regulatory requirements of the different flexibility markets in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
- Support the Public and Regulatory Affairs Director, Strategy Advisors and local teams on regulatory issues. This could include:
Monitoring market regulations and network code development
Answering to public consultations by TSOs/NRA
Being the contact person for TSOs
Ensuring a good understanding of the regulatory requirements and implications for Sympower
Monitor and follow the work of working groups of trade associations that Sympower is a member of
Support lobbying efforts in different countries and represent Sympower at events and meetings
Help advise leadership and help develop Market Strategy in a collaborative team environment
What you will need
3+ years experience in electricity regulatory environments (experience on flexibility market issues is a plus)
Energy law or energy engineering background with knowledge of, and interest for energy regulation
Previous experience with a regulatory agency or a TSO is a strong asset
Deep understanding of regulatory environments
Experience in regulatory relations
Fluent in English and Swedish a must
The position is intended to be placed our of our office in Stockholm, Sweden- but with flexibility on exact location. We are open to candidates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark or Finland!
