Job description

The position
We are looking for a talented Facilities Coordinator to join Sympower's growing team.

As the Facilities Coordinator you will be the main point of contact for all tasks related to Sympower’s Amsterdam office.

Your goal will be to continuously improve our workspace, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our amazing crew.

You will report to our Facilities Manager, and will be joining at an exciting time as we continue to expand.

Job requirements

What you will do

  • As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be the main, onsite point of contact for the Amsterdam office

  • Coordinate Sympower’s day-to-day office operations to ensure that they run smoothly and in alignment with our company mission and values

  • Tasks include, but are not limited to:
    • Liaise with our vendors to ensure a seamless experience for our crew and guests (catering, cleaning and building management)

    • Coordinating office access for our crew and visitors

    • Organising catering as required

    • Responding to facilities incidents reports/support requests

    • Keeping our common spaces functional and tidy

    • Communicating office maintenance/scheduled repairs

    • Liaising with facilities vendors for orders/invoices

    • Getting and distributing mail & shipping /receiving parcels

    • And more as we grow!


What you will need

  • 1-2 years experience in an administrative function or support role

  • Fluency in English a must (additional languages are nice to have)

  • Hands-on mentality

  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • You must be able to come onsite to our Amsterdam office for daily tasks

  • 32-40 hours per week
